Character Day

Today was Character Day at school, Molly went as a cowgirl. Not really sure that's a character but oh well ... it was all we could come up with, haha.

I really know that lately I've been such a bad blogger, it's not that I don't have time really it's that I feel I don't have anything interesting enough that other people would actually want to read.

I spend a lot of time on facebook lately, too much time really. (I know that was very randon changing the subject like that, but oh well) Everyone is there it seems. I never thought I'd get hooked on such a thing but when so many of your friends and relatives are on there it's hard not to spend a lot of time there keeping up with everyone. Are any of you (my blogging friends) on facebook also?

Today I started out mowing the yard, then I had a case of post PMS and got mad and decided to get off the tractor and take a bath and go get my nails done, so that's just what I did. Once there I was really thinking Hmmmmm wonder what these women are saying. Don't you really wonder when you hear people speaking other languages what they're saying. You know they talk about people .... I probably would too if I knew I was speaking a language nobody else understood. Anyway, enough of my rambling.

Hopefully Steve will come in from doing yard work soon and we can go out to eat, I'm hungry and don't want to cook.

If it's meant to be

Approx. 2780 sq. ft. fixer upper with 48 acres of land. We want this so bad but there has been a big dispute between the old homeowners and the bank that now owns this (it was a foreclosure), as of today it was taken off the market to try to get things straightened out. I do pray it all gets settled and becomes our home.

Steve and I went to Tuscaloosa Saturday for the Bama vs Florida International University game. We had a good time as always ...
I was so excited I got to finally meet one of my blogging friends Trina in person. She is a sweet person and she loves Alabama football as much as me. Here's a photo of us before the game.

Day To Care 2009

Today Steve and I did some volunteer work for United Way's Day to Care 2009.

There were several of his coworkers along with us today cleaning and doing some repairs at the Boy's and Girl's Club in Columbus. And what do you know, Steve and I made the local news. They got us on camera cleaning windows. My first time on the news and I would be squatted down cleaning a window, haha ...

Our Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun getaway during the long Labor Day weekend. We took a trip to Perdido, Florida. We had a great time and stayed in a beautiful condo. The only bad thing about the trip was the drive home, what should have taken 5 hrs took 8 hrs !
