My sweet little granddaughter arrived Tuesday night at 7:53 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 4 ozs and was 22 inches long. Her name is Kimberlyn Bailey, she'll be called Bailey. She's is such a doll.

Bailey and her mom Lindsay are both doing great and my son (Wes) is on cloud 9.

Ok, no time for anymore of this right now, I'm off to visit both babies for a little while. I can see it now, I'm gonna be keeping the roads hot. Wish they lived closer and wish my vehicle got better gas mileage ...

This being a grandmother thing is really great. I am amazed at how he has only been in the world 12 days now and I love him so much already and I think of him so much when I'm away from him. I know the love is only going to continue to grow and I can just imagine all the fun we're gonna have when this little fellow is a little bigger.

January 3, 2011 was one of the most amazing days of my life. I got to witness my daughter giving birth to my first grandchild. It was a sad and happy day, sad because it seems just a few years ago I was giving birth to my daughter, happy because now she and her husband are blessing our family with a precious baby to love and cherish forever.

His name is Judslee Kale, he weighed 8 lbs 10 ozs and was 22 inches long.
