Update

My father in law is doing much better. They put in the permanent pacemaker this morning, it did take longer than expected. The doc had orginally told them 45 minutes, but it took about 1 1/2 hours. His heart rate is back up and he's feeling good.
To tell you how serious this was his kidneys had already shut down from his heart rate being so low, but since the pacemaker his kidneys are back working now.
If things keep going well he is expected to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.
We will be leaving the hospital as well tomorrow. Wooohoooo!!!!!
Steve is back up here with us, he's back and forth between UAB and Children's, visiting with his dad and Molly. His dad is still in CCU for now so there are only certain times Steve can go in and see him.
